I want you to know, that I see you...
I see you, navigating life after a cancer diagnosis, feeling lost and overwhelmed by all the conflicting advice on what to eat.
I see you staring at your plate, wondering if what you’re eating is truly helping your recovery—or making things worse.
I see how exhausted you are, struggling with weight and muscle loss, feeling like your body just isn’t your own anymore.
I see you battling side effects like nausea, digestive issues, and loss of appetite, trying to nourish yourself but feeling frustrated at every meal.
I see the fear in the back of your mind—the worry about recurrence, the deep desire to do everything possible to stay healthy.
I see you feeling alone in this, without clear guidance or support, trying to piece together a plan that actually works for you.
I see how much you just want to feel strong again, to have energy, to take back control of your health with confidence.
You don’t have to figure this out on your own. I’m here to help you fuel your body in a way that feels empowering—not overwhelming. Let’s build a plan that works for you.
I qualified as a dietitian with a BSc in Dietetics from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. It was always a dream to live and work overseas, and I was fortunate to bring that dream to life, moving to the UK to work in the NHS. Over the course of 20 years in the NHS, I gained experience across a wide range of clinical areas, including
oncology, gastroenterology, critical care, paediatrics, and nutrition support (tube feeding and intravenous feeding). However, my passion lay in Oncology Dietetics, where I spent 16 years supporting people before, during, and after cancer treatment. For 13 of those years, I led a dietetic department in a senior leadership role, ensuring high-quality care for patients navigating complex health challenges. After the COVID-19 pandemic, I made the decision to step away from the NHS in 2022 to gain commercial experience and further develop my skills in the food industry. That same year, I also pursued a long-held passion— sports nutrition —earning a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports & Exercise Nutrition.
Through my years in oncology and sports nutrition, one truth stands out: the human body is incredibly capable and resilient. With the right nutrition and a supportive approach, recovery is not just possible—it’s powerful. We can rebuild strength, restore energy, and return to the life we love after illness.
That’s exactly what I want for you, and I’m here to help you get there.
I have worked with Theresa for many years and she is so knowledgeable, person centred and an awesome dietitian. I have seen what she can do. There is so much misinformation out there. I'd really recommend talking to her because working with Theresa can improve your outcome .
I took up surfing in my 40s and quickly became obsessed. But let’s just say, the ocean keeps me humble—I once got hit on the head with a surfboard and dealt with post-concussion syndrome for months. I truly understand fatigue!
Travel, family, and the outdoors are my happy places. Whether it’s exploring new places or just spending time in nature, that’s where I feel most alive.
I have two incredible kids who mean the world to me. They keep me grounded, motivated, and constantly learning.
Discipline wasn’t always my thing, but over time, I’ve learned the power of small, consistent habits. Now, I focus on daily micro-habits to nourish my mind, body, and spirit.
I love animals and deeply care about the environment, but… I cannot be in the same room as a spider. They must be carefully caught and escorted outside—at a safe distance from me!
